Department of urologic surgical oncology
The Department is dedicated to developing and improving techniques used in the diagnosis and treatment of malignant neoplasms of the kidneys, ureters, prostate, urinary bladder and testes. The Department implements the fast-track surgery principles – a post-operative care concept aiming to minimize trauma due to surgery and reduce the risk of postoperative complications.
Our team of highly-qualified professionals has mastered all types of surgeries and surgical manipulations to treat urologic cancers, using both traditional conventional surgical techniques and cutting-edge high-tech surgical techniques. Our specialists received clinical training at American and European clinics.
The Department uses high-quality cutting-edge – often unique, technologically speaking – equipment manufactured by leading global medical equipment manufactures. The Department has the most advanced endoscopic surgery system featuring a 3D endoscopic visualization system, which allows better depth perception during laparoscopic surgeries, as well as improved movement accuracy and better outcomes of surgery. The Department improves and implements high-precision minimally invasive strategies of surgical treatment, using modern surgical navigation and manipulation technology.
