Dr Tkachenko is Head of the Department of Short-Course Chemotherapy at the N.N. Petrov National Medical Research Center of Oncology. In addition, she is a member of the Department of Innovative Technologies and Rehabilitation of the N.N. Petrov National Medical Research Center of Oncology.
She a member of expert groups on treatment of breast cancer, ovarian cancer, thyroid cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, colon and rectal cancer, and gastric cancer.
She is the author of more than 20 publications.
She has participated in more than 20 international clinical research studies. In 1999 she was one of the first Russian researchers to start participating in international clinical research aimed at the study and use of drugs in treatment of patients with malignant tumors.
She is a member of the Society of Chemotherapy of Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast, a member of the Society of Oncologists of Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast, a member of the Russian Society of Clinical Oncology, a member of the European Society for Medical Oncology and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
